An out-of-this-world 25th anniversary gala
WSC Avant Bard celebrated 25 years on the edge with a one-night-only theatrical event: A staged concert reading of Charles Dickens’ classic tale of ghosts and redemption retold in Klingon, the language invented for Star Trek by Avant Bard’s own board president, linguist Marc Okrand.
Scrooge has no honor, nor any courage. Can three ghosts help him to become the true warrior he ought to be in time to save Tiny Tim from a horrible fate?
Directed by Kevin Finkelstein and featuring Marc Okrand as Scrooge. Performed in the original Klingon (tlhIngan Hol) with English supertitles.
